Year 6 camp reminders

Dear Parents

Students are required to be at school at 5.30am for a 6am departure on Monday 1st March. Due to time constraints buses will leave promptly at 6am. Please do not be late!

Students will return to school the afternoon of Wednesday 3rd March approximately 5pm (traffic dependent). Parents will be notified of a more accurate time via SZapp and the Good Shepherd facebook page closer to arrival.

Please provide your child with a healthy morning tea and water bottle which they will carry in their backpacks on the bus.

Medication:

Any medication that your child needs to take while at camp, must be handed to their class teacher on the morning of camp Monday 1st March.

• It MUST be in the original packaging and within a ziploc bag with instructions.
• The child’s name must be clearly shown
• Clearly written directions including dosage and frequency of application must be provided
• Teachers cannot receive any medication for students that does not comply with the above instructions

All current medication stored at school will be taken to camp by the teachers and returned to school at the conclusion of camp. Medication from home will be given back to the students on the return bus journey.

Please do not bring phones, smart watches or other electronic devices. Please do not pack lollies or snack foods to share due to food allergies. Any of these items will be confiscated and returned to your child after camp.
